I've been planning on doing this for about a month and decided I should create a group that is Dedicated to the Awareness of the "Superbug" that is Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus which is better known as MRSA, It is a potentially deadly infection which used to be exclusive to Hospitals but in Recent years it has become more Widespread, I myself have had it and wanted to spread the Awareness of it to the general Public. Here's a fun fact, everyone is carrying two types of Staph bacteria, Staphylococcus Epidermidis (Which is the "Good Bacteria" on your skin but can cause infections to those who are either immunodeficient or Immunocompromised) and Staphylococcus Aureus (Which is primarily found in the Nose, This is the Genus of Bacteria that MRSA is a part of, It can cause a range of illnesses from minor skin conditions like Zits, Impetigo, Boils, Cellulitis Folliculitis to Life Threatening diseases like Pneumonia and Meningitis.)

Here's what happened with me, I found out about what seemed to be an ingrown hair that became infected and I tried a few methods of popping it but got nowhere, A Day Later it became serious as It started interfering with my mobility as it caused me a great deal of pain when I walked.
The day after I went to an Urgent Care facility which after an examination of the infection recommended that I go to the Emergency Room and we did just that, I was admitted and Blood was taken and I was given a couple of swabs up the nostrils and wheeled me to my own room.
The Day after that I was given the incision that is seen in my gallery titled "My Drainage Hole", It was an actual surgical procedure and I was awake for the entire surgery, I have no clue how I didn't blast F-Bombs left and right when They were doing it because They gave me morphine as well as two local anesthetics, nothing worked to stop the pain, it was then packed and a gauze pad was taped on with some gauze wrap, Eventually it was all over and I was being administered IV painkillers along with IV Antibiotics and mustering what Pride I had left I managed to walk to the bathroom which was only a few feet away, However I wasn't very hungry during my entire stay because the Antibiotics killed my appetite.
I was finally able to leave the next day and I was put on a list for Visiting Nurses who would change my Bandage and packing, however I had a bad limp as well as looking like a little old lady when I walked because of the pain which required painkillers (Percocets) as well as Ibuprofin, the pain gradually diminished over time and about two and a half weeks after that I visited the Surgeon who decided I don't need the incision packed anymore and then a few days after that it was decided that I should be discharged from the Visiting nurse list.
About two and a half weeks ago I started putting my entire foot on the floor to get rid of that limp and now I'm walking perfectly fine, you wouldn't even know that I had a limp to begin with.

If anyone has a story about an encounter with MRSA or anything like it please share it for everyone to read so that they can learn more about MRSA and the different effects it can have on one's wellbeing.

What a coincidence, this morning I was reading about something similar on Wikipedia.

BTW I hope you're alright.
