The Crimson Spider TV series

Season 1

Dom Oranzi was a somewhat normal guy until an incident got him stuck with a Klyntar after he moved to New York, He is a web designer and Cartoonist for the Front Line/Daily Bugle and was caught in the middle of a fight between Venom and Spider-Man when the Venom creature spawned again and he was granted the powers and abilities of both Venom and Spider-Man. He didn't know it until a few weeks into the bonding until he started feeling fatigued during the daytime and sleeping through days, He went to see his GP about it and found out about his new "friend" after the visit was over. Dom was always one for helping out other people and he felt he had a chance to make a difference by being a superhero, taking after Ben Reilly's codename he dubbed himself the Crimson Spider and vowed to make a difference for the people of New York.
He first Started with Gangs and muggers and this drew out the attention of Venom after he saw criminals covered in red webbing and Venom instantly wanted to kill the spawn as Feral Klyntar are so prone to doing. Venom nearly killed Dom due to the latter's inexperience but was saved by an unknown person hiding in the shadows. His mystery savior vanished before Dom could get a good look at them, Dom later decided to start taking some classes in martial arts and kickboxing so he's not caught unprepared against Venom again.
After a few weeks of taking down muggers and gangbangers he was confronted by Venom again and the fight was nearly even this time until Dom snapped and attacked Venom with everything he had finally knocking him out. He called the police on the phone to say that Venom is down for the count and needs someone to take him into custody, Meanwhile someone is watching on the rooftops as Dom is doing this. The next day Dom goes into work with numerous contusions and abrasions, a fractured clavicle, three broken ribs, torn ligaments and tendons and a sprained wrist, using the excuse that he was mugged last night to throw the crew off as to what really happened to him. He felt like last night was the first of many tough times ahead for him and that one day Venom will be back. However an even bigger threat is waiting in the shadows.
